3 Tasty Lower-Cal Salad Dressings

The problem with most salad dressings is that they’re so high in calories you end up eating half your salad dry (or adding more dressing and calories).

I’ve found three tasty dressings that you can make at home in minutes that have 1/3 the calories of the store-bought dressings, none of the chemicals and all the taste.  Here they are:

Caesar  (2 tbsp = 60 calories)

6 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp water
6 anchovy (or mackarel) fillets, mashed
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Blue Cheese (2 tbsp = 45 calories)

1/4 cup Greek yogurt – 2% plain
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese Black pepper, cayenne pepper to taste

Honey Mustard (2 tbsp = 50 calories)

1/2 cup brown mustard (spicy if you like)
2 tsp olive oil
2 tbsp natural honey
2 tbsp water
2 tsp lemon juice
